Detours, Road Closure For Malden Water Line Work

Area drivers can expect morning disruptions around Medford Street in Malden through next month.

MALDEN, MA — Some Malden motorists will run into a road closure and detours in the coming weeks due to ongoing utility work south of the Malden Center area, Malden Police announced Tuesday.

Morning road closures will continue throughout December on Medford Street between intersections with Main Street and Green Street, police said. Detours will be in place.

The road will be closed to thru traffic on weekdays, with access resuming on weekends. Work will generally begin at 7 a.m.
