2 Injured In I-93 Rollover Crash In Medford

A Rindge, N.H woman, 40, and a 46-year-old Tewksbury man both suffered minor injuries in the crash, according to State Police.

MEDFORD, MA — A rollover crash on I-93 northbound in Medford sent two people to the hospital around 1:45 p.m. on Thursday, according to State Police.

The crash, which took place near exit 24 on I-93, prompted lane closures and delays, according to a previous update from state Department of Transportation (MassDOT).

Two cars crashed in the area. The drivers — a 40-year-old Rindge, N.H woman and a 46-year-old Tewksbury man — were both taken to the hospital with minor injuries, State Police said.

MassDOT said just before 2:30 p.m. that the scene had cleared.

Crews initially closed right lanes due to the crash and warned motorists to expect delays in the area. MassDOT said motorists should expect "residual delays" as normal traffic flow resumes.
