Keith Bernard Running For Re-Election To Malden School Committee

MALDEN, MA – Keith Bernard is running for re-election to Malden’s School Committee, Ward 7.

“I will continue fighting for our students to have access to the education they need and deserve, ensure our teachers have the tools they need to be effective and that every dollar spent is used responsibly because every young person should have the opportunity to succeed to the best of their abilities,” Bernard said in a news release.

Bernard ran for office in 2021, and in the two years since his appointment, he has worked to make sure staff were paid what they deserved, led the vote to approve the new teacher and educational professional contract, collaborated with the state delegation for funding and ensuring no student is hungry during the school day while they’re trying to learn.

“I am committed to this community, my neighbors and our schools- together we can lead the way to a strong and bright future,” Bernard said in the release.
