Malden School Calendar 2022-23: Early Release, Late Entry Changes
The School Committee voted to approve the calendar, which has class begin Aug. 31 for most students and Sept. 8 for kindergarteners.
MALDEN, MA — The 2022-23 school calendar will look different after having some class time trimmed here and added there.
The School Committee voted Monday night to approve the calendar, which has class begin Aug. 31 for most students and Sept. 8 for kindergarteners. The last day of school is scheduled for June 14 if there are no snow days.
Graduation is scheduled for June 4.

The calendar eliminates late entry days, which saw students arrive at 9:30 a.m. once a month. It also made all early release days have 11 a.m. dismissals as opposed to some 12:30 p.m. dismissals, which Superintendent Ligia Noriega-Murphy said confused some families.
