Popular Crossing Guard Commended For Longtime Service to Community

MALDEN, MA - Jen Lynch, whose child attends the Forestdale Elementary School in the city, recent;y requested that longtime crossing guard George Knox be recognized by the city.

As a result, Mayor Gary Christenson stopped by Knox’s post and commended him for his many years of outstanding service and commitment to the elementary children at the Forestdale School as a crossing guard.

Lynch noted Knox’s positive outlook and his compassionate personality, She said the popular crossing guard is appreciated by many local students and their families.
