Since then, Malden Police and Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office have devoted many hours and resources to the investigation and made some progress but no one has been charged in connection with the crime, according to the district attorney’s office.
Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan released the following statement Thursday:

“Members of the public who may have seen or heard something on that day or since then may have a useful lead. On occasion with other crimes, a citizen has come forward with a small detail which may not appear to have significance to the person but which has opened doors for detectives and sent them along a path that has led to an arrest. Mr. Clark’s family and our investigators would be grateful for the public’s help in solving this crime in which an innocent man who served our country was gunned down at the store he owned.”
Ryan’s office also rereleased Thursday surveillance footage from the day of the murder that shows two suspects in the shop.
Authorities have asked the public to pay special attention to the suspects’ facial and bodily appearances, their gaits and their clothing.
Authorities said these males entered the shop shortly after 12:30 p.m. on Jan. 29, 2013, confronted Clark and then one of them shot Clark multiple times before they fled.
Members of the public with any information are asked to contact Malden Police at 781-397-7171 or Massachusetts State Police at 781-897-6600.
