Somerville Police Department Is Now Hiring

SOMERVILLE, MA — The police department is now accepting applications for direct hires with the goal of filling multiple vacancies.

Salary can range between $81,000 and $121,000 depending on how much experience and years of service any hire has. All applicants must have completed full-time Municipal Police Training. The department offers differential pay for nights and weekends, 14 paid holidays, and between three and six weeks of vacation annually.

“We’re looking for dedicated, motivated individuals ready to serve one of the most diverse and dynamic communities in the Northeast,” the department said in a statement.
