Thank you for your generous donation used in our 7 Wishes for $7000 campaign for the J.R. Lowell Elementary School.
We are amazed and honored at the outpouring of donations given to us by many businesses, and the excitement and enthusiasm from our bidders.
Our online auction and live event was a huge success, with over $11,600 raised! The online auction had over 30,000 page views, 115 participants, and 730 bids.

We are now able to fulfill our 7 wishes of:
- In-house grade level experience such as Museum of Science visit
- Leveled reading books for classroom use
- Purchase of technology applications for school IPod cart
- Magazine subscription support for 2013-2014 such as Time for Kids
- Establishment for after school homework club for Grade 3 and up – 10 week program
- Classroom supply assistance
- Art & music supplies
In addition, we are in the process of determining additional wishes to be fulfilled. We plan on spending every penny! We could not have had this success without the support from many businesses in the Watertown community. In addition, we received many donations from surrounding towns in Waltham, Belmont, Newton & Boston, and even out of state. At nearly 200 donations total for both the online auction and live event, we wish we could name everyone here.
The students, teachers, and parents at the J.R. Lowell Elementary truly thank you with much gratitude and appreciation.
Sincerely,
Seta Davidian & Michelle Flanagan
