• Winter Parking Ban Goes Into Effect Jan. 1, See Off-Street Parking Options (watertownmanews.com) — Watertown’s winter overnight parking ban begins January 1, 2026, and runs through March 1, strictly limiting on-street parking between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. Residents without driveways can use designated municipal, school, park, and private lots after 7 p.m., but must move cars by early morning or risk towing, with special rules for snow emergencies and construction closures.

• Mosesian Center for the Arts Announces Inaugural Artist-in-Residence Cohort for 2026 (watertownmanews.com) — The Mosesian Center for the Arts in Watertown has named its first Artist-in-Residence cohort for Winter and Spring 2026, including an Ignite Fellow and an Emerging Artist. Residents will create new work on-site and host public events like talks, workshops, and open studios, starting with a free welcome reception on January 8 at the Arsenal arts complex.
