Plenty of Places to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Watertown

The fun begins Thursday and runs all weekend.

 

Put on your green outfit and head to one of the many St. Patrick's Day events around Watertown this week. 

Whether its fun at an Irish bar, dancing to Irish tunes or dining on corned beef and cabbage, you'll find it in Watertown this weekend.

Thursday

Donohue's Bar & Grill welcomes Irish Whispa at 8 p.m. on Thursday night.

 

Friday

Kick your heels up at the Canadian American Club's St. Patty's Pub Night. Traditional Gaelic and Maritime music will be on tap, and musicians can bring their instrument and play join in the fun. 

The Auld Locals provide some tunes for the St. Patrick's celebration at Donohue's Bar & Grill starting t 9 p.m. on Friday.


Saturday 

The Canadian American Club hosts a St. Patrick's Day Dance, complete with Irish music, Irish bread and some Irish beverages, too.

Just over the line into Newton, American Legion Post 440 hosts its St. Patty's Day celebration Saturday night, with corned beef and cabbage followed by dancing. 

 

Sunday

Porcini's Restaurant will roll out its St. Patrick's Day menu with items such as corned beef and cabbage, Guinness Irish stew and stuffed cabbage.

The celebration begins early at Donohue's Bar & Grill on Sunday with a traditional Irish breakfast from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m Beginning at noon and running while supplies last, they will serve all-you-can-eat corned beef and cabbage. Throughout the afternoon until closing diners can enjoy live Irish music, bag piping and a good old fashioned Craic, featuring Danny Gill and the Old Brigade.
