Bayville Woman Beats COVID-19, Then Turns 110: Report
The Asbury Park Press reported how a Bayville woman received a special birthday gift last week — 110 roses for her 110th birthday.

BERKELEY, NJ — A resident at the Tallwoods Care Center in Bayville received a special birthday gift last week — 110 roses for her 110th birthday on Jan. 20, according to The Asbury Park Press. .
“We are absolutely amazed,” great-niece Kristen Howe told the publication. Hilda Brown achieved the rare milestone after a battle with COVID-19 in November.
Amid the pandemic, Brown’s family members have been visiting her at the care center through a window, according to the report.

Brown has joined the supercentenarian club, which includes people age 110 or older. There are as many as 76 in the United States right now, according to Gerontology Wiki. Brown is the oldest living person along the Jersey Shore.
