Berkeley Cops: Trailer Crashes Into Holiday City Home

Oct. 28 mishap is still under investigation, house is uninhabitable, police chief says

BERKELEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Oct. 28 was not a good day for the homeowners of a Guadaloupe Drive house in Holiday City.

That was the day a trailer that was being towed on the roadway dislodged from the towing vehicle, which sent it careening into the house, Police Chief Karin T. DiMichele said.

Patrolman Ed LaGreca responded to the address and found that the home had extensive structural damage, the chief said.

No one was injured, but the house was uninhabitable due to structural damage. The incident is still under investigation, DiMichele said.
