Berkeley Police Investigating Copper Theft In Holiday City Home

House was vacant and undergoing renovations when theft occurred, police chief says

BERKELEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Berkeley Township police are investigating a recent break-in at a Port Royal Drive home where someone stole copper tubing and construction items, Police Chief Karin T. DiMichele said.

Police responded to the home in Holiday City on Dec. 3 on a burglary report. Police determined that someone had forced entry into the house through a sliding glass door in the rear and taken the items, the chief said.

The home was unoccupied and is under renovation.
