Central Ocean Business Association To Meet On Tuesday In Bayville

Group will meet in the Heritage Square Professional Center on Route 9

BAYVILLE, NJ - The Central Ocean Business Association (COBA) has reached a milestone. The fledgling group now has 100 members.

To celebrate, the group is holding a networking tour from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 5 at the Heritage Square Professional Center at 510 Route 9 in Bayville.

The event will feature wine, soft drinks, hot appetizers, cheese, coffee and dessert. Admission is free for members and $10 for future members.

The sponsors are the Heritage Square Professional Center and Maser Engineering.

For years, officials in the river towns have grappled with the same problem - how to attract and keep new businesses along the Route 9 corridor from Beachwood down to Lacey Township.

That's COBA's goal. The organization included the river towns of Berkeley, Ocean Gate, South Toms River, Beachwood, Pine Beach and nearby Lacey Township, John Crisafulli, a vice president with Kearny Bank in Bayville, has said.
