Central Regional Transforms Into Halloweentown For One Day

Faculty members continued an annual tradition, donned costumes and got in the spirit of the holiday

BAYVILLE, NJ - You probably wouldn't have recognized many of the faculty members at Central Regional High School on Halloween.

Mark Haug was probably the creepiest. He strode the high school halls dressed as Stephen King's Pennywise.

Ron Donnerstag didn't have to dress up much. He came as Gov. Chris Christie, lounging in a chair with a sign announcing that Island Beach State Park was closed.

Faculty members donned wings, ballerina skirts and tights to come as the "Social Butterflies" group.

Teachers from the physical education department came as the Harlem Globetrotters. Social Studies faculty members came as various world leaders, including Putin and President Trump.

The math dept came as the "Cereal Mascots and a Cereal Killer."

Come back next Halloween to see the new costumes. Some faculty members dress up every year, Superintendent Triantafillos Parlapanides said.

Parlapanides wore a suit on Halloween. He said he came as Congress.
