Criminal Mischief Reported At Berkeley Branch Of OC Library
Someone cut a catalytic converter out of a county work van, police chief says.

BERKELEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Berkeley police are investigating the theft of a catalytic converter that was cut from a county government work van, Police Chief Karin T. DiMichele said.
The theft was discovered after police responded to a criminal mischief report on Oct. 31 at the Berkeley branch of the Ocean County Library at 30 Station Road, the chief said.
The scene was documented and further investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call the Berkeley Township Police Department TIP line at 732-341-1132 x 611. Tips can be anonymous.
