Garage Fire Under Investigation In Holiday City
The Manitou Park Fire Company reported to a home Sunday morning on Venezia Street for a structure fire with explosions in the garage.
BERKELEY, NJ — The cause of a fire in a Holiday City home is under investigation by the Ocean County Fire Marshal's Office.
The Manitou Park Fire Company reported to a home Sunday at 7:20 a.m. on Venezia Street for a fire with explosions in the garage, authorities said.
The Pinewald Pioneer Fire Company, Bayville Volunteer Fire Department and Toms River Fire Company 2 RIT Team assisted at the scene.

First arriving units secured the gas to the residence and the fire was quickly extinguished before it could spread through the rest of the home, authorities said.

The Ocean County Fire Marshal's Office, Berkeley Township Fire Prevention and the Berkeley Township Police Department are investigating the cause of the fire.
