ISLAND BEACH STATE PARK, NJ — Mobile sport fishing vehicle access reopened at Island Beach State Park after the park closed early Wednesday due to beach erosion.

Park officials urge people to use caution while driving on the sand as the beach is soft and narrow in some areas from maintenance work.

Officials said people utilizing sport vehicle access should be actively fishing at all times.
