Tonight Is Trick Or Treat Night In Berkeley

Berkeley curfew is 10 p.m., Toms River Halloween parade starts at 7 p.m.

BERKELEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - You may have to pick your Halloween pleasure tonight.

Township officials several years ago opted to hold trick or treat night on Oct. 31, rather than Oct. 30. That broke a decades-old tradition which allowed Berkeley kids to trick or treat on Oct. 30 and attend the Toms River Halloween parade on Oct. 31.

Most of the towns on the river side still opt for Oct. 30 as trick or treat night, which adds to the confusion. Beachwood and Pine Beach had trick or treat last night.
