Two Women Injured In Christmas Eve Crash, Police Chief Says

The accident happened in the Pinewald-Keswick-Dover Road area.

BERKELEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Two women were injured in a two-car crash on Christmas Eve in the area of Pinewald-Keswick Road and Dover Road, Police Chief Karin T. DiMichele said.

One passenger, an 88-year-old, was airlifted to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune for treatment of a chest injury as a precaution. The second driver, 71, also had a chest injury and was taken to Community Medical Center, the chief said.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene. The Pinewald Pioneer Fire Department and the Berkeley First Aid Squad responded.
