Farmingdale Firefighters Help Extinguish Bethpage House Fire

Multiple fire departments responded to a house fire in Bethpage over the weekend.

FARMINGDALE, NY—The Farmingdale Fire Department assisted crews with extinguishing a house fire over the weekend in Bethpage.

On Saturday at 4:38 a.m., the Bethpage Fire Department responded to their second house fire of the day on South 1st St.

According to arriving units, smoke was showing from the two-story home. Fortunately, all three people inside the home, including a dog, were able to safely evacuate the burning home.

One person was transported to the hospital with smoke inhalation.

Firefighters from Levittown and South Farmingdale Fire Departments were also called to the scene to fight the smokey basement fire.
