Farmingdale State Open House Set for April 13
Great opportunity for prospective students to see campus, meet with educators.
Farmingdale State College has scheduled its spring Open House on Saturday April 13, an opportunity for prospective students to talk with faculty, admissions and financial aid counselors, and take student-led tours.
Open House begins at the new Campus Center which offers food services, the bookstore, meeting rooms, a ballroom and lounges for study and relaxation. Staff from Admissions, Financial Aid, Athletics, Residence Life and Student Activities will be available in the ballroom to answer questions and offer advice.
Student Rambassadors (Farmingdale’s mascot is the Ram) will be standing by to make sure you get where you want to go. In addition, visitors can sign up for the mobile website – which will provide campus walking directions – by downloading m.farmingdale.edu.

In Roosevelt Hall, professors will be available to answer questions about career options offered by Farmingdale’s more than 35 bachelor and associate degrees. General campus tours, with optional stops at Orchard and Dewey Residential Halls, will leave from Roosevelt Hall. Shuttle vans to the Aviation Center at Republic Airport will leave periodically.
An all-day Educational Field Day, titled “Products from the Garden,” will be held in the College’s nationally recognized Teaching Gardens.
