"The Breakfast Club" Coming to Farmingdale State College
Iconic John Hughes movie comes to life on college stage.
The Back Stage Theater Company at Farmingdale State College is proud to present The Breakfast Club in Roosevelt Hall’s Little Theater on April 12, 13, 19 and 20 at 8 p.m, with matineé performances at 3 p.m. on April 14 and 21.
This student production is based on the iconic 1985 American coming-of-age movie, which was written and directed by the late John Hughes. In a gesture as generous as it is rare, Hughes made his script available for such use; Farmingdale students then made it their own, right down to the 80’s-inspired costumes and hairstyles. The production is directed for the Farmingdale stage by Nick Attanasio.
Tickets are free for Farmingdale State College students; $5 for other students/seniors; and $10 for other patrons. Tickets may be purchased at the box office prior to the performance. Seating at all performances is general admission.
