Middletown High School Football Star Returning To Coach Program
Middletown High School has named a familiar face as its new head football coach.

Bio: Chris is a founding editor at Patch who now covers the Vernon, Tolland, Manchester, Stafford-Willington, Glastonbury, Mansfield and Middletown sites in addition to UConn news and statewide business. Since becoming a full-time journalist in 1984, he has won national and regional awards for sports, general news, breaking news, business, feature writing and opinion, including a national award by the Associated Press Sports Editors for coverage of the 1988 America's Cup controversy while at the Greenwich Time newspaper and a regional award from the New England Press Association for covering the anti-income tax rally during the Weicker Administration in CT while at the Milford Citizen. Chris is also a past-president of the Eastern Ski Writers Association and has contributed to several books on snow sports. He is also a certified Level 1 coach with USA Lacrosse. and coaches Rockville High School during the winter indoor season.
