Maureen is an editor at Long Island Patch with a passion for local news, covering the areas of Deer Park-North Babylon, Babylon Village, Bay Shore, Islip, East Islip, Sayville-Bayport, Brentwood-Central Islip, Lindenhurst, and West Islip. Born and raised in Queens, NY, she received her bachelor's in English Literature at SUNY Binghamton, and recently graduated with her master's degree from New York University's Arthur L.
