Before becoming associate regional editor for Patch in Northern New Jersey, Rick was the inaugural Madison Patch editor, which was the 17th Patch site in the country and the first in Morris County when it launched on Nov. 25, 2009. Before Patch, Rick was the sports editor at the Daily Record, where he was assistant sports editor before that. He has also previously covered minor league baseball and various professional sporting events. He is excited to help cover the Patch communities in northern New Jersey.
